Cyrus's childhood was stolen by a cult that tried to summon Satan using "gifted children". Little did they know that some of those "gifted children" were, in fact, real angels or nephilim, offspring between an angel and a human. Cyrus is a Virtue, but has no memories of Eden.

According to ShanLong, this is a common occurrence known as "Angelic Amnesia", a condition that does not allow an angel infected with the "Glitch of Knowledge" to find out about their origins in Eden.

Cyrus only remembers his time at the cult, where he spent most of his life. But at least he wasn't alone-- his childhood friend Gabe has always been with him.
