New Orleans in the 1960s-- a serial killer is on the loose and killing the rich and corrupt. The police are alarmed, but fail to find any evidence in the case. In the meantime, a young Creole named Alastor is singing for the underground gay scene at gay bars, earning himself a reputation high enough to be well sought after. No one would seem to think that this man is, in fact, the serial killer the police are failing to trace.

In the meantime, a TV reporter named Vincent is on his way to self-discovery and is convinced to join the New Orleans underground gay scene. He meets Alastor at the bar and is smitten with him the moment he hears his voice. Both start bonding over shared interests, but Vincent is unaware that he may even end up as one of Alastor's prey.

... but Alastor fails to find any dirty information on Vincent, and suddenly he feels so attracted to him.
