While it is in strict rivalry with PhaiDei, it has gained a good bunch of popularity as well. Phainon has evidently admired the Professor's works, and even Anaxa has stated that Phainon is a valuable student who had been at the Academy longer than anyone else (not because he's bad, though).

PhaiDei is one of the most popular ships in Honkai:Star Rail and the whole Amphoreus patch. Unfortunately, some shippers are strictly exclusive with this ship and don't like people that ship Phainon with someone else but Mydei. They're both idiots of the same kind, rivaling and quarreling with each other like an old couple would (sometimes).

These two. Ever since the Amphoreus questline (I forgot the patch where it was relevant), it was known that Dan Heng waited for a thousand years for the Trailblazer to return. This man has been yearning. And Caelus...? He's the silly raccoon coded boyfriend who loves Dan Heng just as much, even though he can be someties a little oblivious. Poor raccoon behavior.
