This month went by like it was nothing.
I've been dealing with allergies lately, and it's a pain. My one-week vacation is over soon, too. And no, I didn't travel anywhere. I don't have the money to afford a luxury like that. I took that week off because I've been burnt out from my internship.
That internship ended last week. Oh, and that integrated workplace? Guess what: The higher-ups didn't want to pay for it. I can tell you, I am so upset, and I wasn't the only one. Imagine working hard for MONTHS on something that would give you one step closer to a genuine full-time job. Imagine being liked by staff alike. Imagine getting along with everyone. Imagine trying your fucking hardest.
Only to be told that they don't have the capacities, and that 300 euros is something they're not to keen on giving out for me. Not happy about the outcome. Still salty about it, and I'm going to be salty about it for a long time.
Anyways. Aside from working my ass off, I've not been doing much. Playing games, working on some side projects here. Still haven't done the fanlisting shrines I've meant to do. It's just been a lot. My side projects took some extra attention. I'm glad I got the Fanfiction page working, and I can fully dedicate myself to that. I missed writing so much; it's just the allergies and other factors that keep me away from it (help).
I've realized that creating little JavaScript games isn't so bad. You can see those that I've worked on here. I've got another one I need to add; I am just overhauling the games page for that. Some more stuff needs to be added and the like. Maybe Tutorials? More graphics? I'll see what I can do. Amaurot needs an overhaul, too. But time. I've had a week off and told myself to work on some website stuff, but some work went to the fanfiction system, some other work went to my Discord RP group, and whatnot.
This poor bean needs a break from their break.
Anywho. I have realized that I will keep going job-wise. Not thrilled to return to the workshop, but happy to return to the Community Center once per week. I've missed some gems there. They were happy to see me, and I was happy to see them. If the integrated workplace had worked, I would've seen them anyway from then on. But it is what it is.
