I do admit the new year started alright. Well, for me it barely started anyway, as for the past two weeks I was back interning at the place I interned at in November 2025. It feels nice being back, enjoying my time with the elderly and having nice chats with my colleagues. This internship is intended to be longer than the previous one, as it will decide whether or not it's going to turn into an integrated workplace. That means I'm still supported by the workshop, but I can work at the daycare instead of the workshop. This would be a huge improvement and something that was planned for 2026 in the first place.

The first week was alright, yet a little exhausting. This week was alright as well, but yesterday I was struggling a little due to the lack of sleep, and therefore my medication didn't work too well. It's okay, we all have those days. I didn't go to work on Tuesday 'cause I've had back pain that would've impeded my work performance.

One of the main focuses of this internship is mainly the aspect of individual care; that means I get to care for a group of guests and run a small session with them and only them. This could mean playing games, baking, or something else. It's to see if I am able to, and on Thursday I was doing exactly that. I chose Yazee as a game to play, something they were not familiar with, but as we were playing, I was able to explain the rules. It worked well, and we've had a lot of fun!

I want to focus on it more as well, but not only with Yazee, but also... bake or cook with them. I still have three weeks for this, and for the time I don't work, I invest at least one or two hours on weekends to study for potential games and the like. Of course, since I am not hired, I'd have to talk to my colleagues about it. Communication is important; after all, they need to be aware of what I'm doing and who is involved. 

Enough about work. 

For the past two or so weeks, I've started catching up with Stranger Things, and admittedly, it has become something to be hyperfixated on, even after Season Five ended. Have you seen it? What did you think about the end? For me it was alright despite the plot holes and inconsistencies. 

If it wasn't Stranger Things, it was Identity V. I got back into playing, though it's now benched until I am officially a Columbina Haver in Genshin Impact. I've lost my 50/50 to Diluc (how dare) and now I'm grinding more, if not all day/after work. 

I've also started playing Heartopia, which is also benched because of Genshin Impact, and I couldn't even play Animal Crossing. The new update's out, and so far I like it! But yeah, Genshin Impact and priorities, right?

I am also the owner of a Kindle now! I've wanted one for YEARS, and I was holding back for so long. I've been reading some books, mostly when I'm in bed or on my breaks at work... or when I really don't know what else to do (like when I'm waiting on the cutscenes in Genshin Impact to end). I've started reading The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, and I love it so far! I am very much into Danmei, I'm just not showing it much.

Also, another little announcement: Feyradio is now part of the AMAUROT Network. I've meant to do something like a Main Network Hub in a while, and while I've started everything with Feyradio, AMAUROT is the main hub to go to where I would list and host most of my side projects. The main site for AMAUROT is a huge work-in-progress, and thanks to Genshin Impact I am so much behind in coding nowadays; it's annoying. I hope once I have Columbina, I can at least focus on that for a while. Let us hope she comes home soon and I am free from grinding jail.
